There are never too many people in your life that are there for you from day one. My mom has not only been there, but been a huge influence on my life, in every aspect. It's hard to sum up in a few sentences how important she is to me, but quite simply I wouldn't be the person I am without her. The way I look at the world, the way I approach problems, the confidence and motivation I apply to my work - it's all stemmed from her. She's always inspiring me with her life and work, and I don't expect it to stop. Her constant drive, determination and creative approach often results in something special - arguably including my brother and I. Nobody could really hope to have better parents in the world, and I've even caught my friends admitting that my mom is the best.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't appreciate all she has done for me. Whether its a new experience, taking us traveling, or always supporting my dreams and what I want to do - I feel like one of the luckiest people to have not only the best mom, but a great friend.
