I just got a bunch of film developed from my recent trip to London and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it. There is a great black and white series I am pretty excited about. A few place, a few people, my Canon F1 continues to deliver some really nice images, especially without color.

There's not a whole lot to say about these shirts, they're the best. Since I first bought a 19th Century BD from Engineered Garments from their FW08 collection it has taken me a bit of time to be fully comfortable with the block. The Workaday selection comes in heavy oxford clothes and is definitely my favorite shirt out there. I'm excited to be able to carry the small collection in the Stockroom next spring.

It still feels a little strange, even as I sit in the shop typing this. But I actually have my own store. It has been a dream talked over with my brother, my best friends and thought through in my own mind many many times, and its finally a reality. I say finally, but it actually happened much quicker than I had expected. In the end, a nice space, the right people and some amazing products allowed the shop to come to life and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

There's not much I can say about skateboarding that hasn't been said, or done. It's really hard and I've never been very good. The culture surrounding skateboarding in NY and London especially is more than iconic and due to photographers like Jeb Allred, it's allure is undeniable.

There are never too many people in your life that are there for you from day one. My mom has not only been there, but been a huge influence on my life, in every aspect. It's hard to sum up in a few sentences how important she is to me, but quite simply I wouldn't be the person I am without her. The way I look at the world, the way I approach problems, the confidence and motivation I apply to my work - it's all stemmed from her. She's always inspiring me with her life and work, and I don't expect it to stop. Her constant drive, determination and creative approach often results in something special - arguably including my brother and I. Nobody could really hope to have better parents in the world, and I've even caught my friends admitting that my mom is the best.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't appreciate all she has done for me. Whether its a new experience, taking us traveling, or always supporting my dreams and what I want to do - I feel like one of the luckiest people to have not only the best mom, but a great friend.
Thank you Mom.
Our Legacy's collection has received much praise in the last couple of seasons, more buy it's consumers than publications or real critics - at least that I know of. While denim aficionados or people with strong ties to certain brands may wince at the Swedish label's jeans, I feel that they are doing a fine job across the board. Note everyone wants to buy raw jeans and finding a natural looking wash with a nice casual fit is not the easiest. Our Legacy offer a handful of washes and a really nice silhouette, just ask the bloggers from JJJJound and Julien Strangler.

Originally started in 1993, Takeshi Ohfuchi began making vintage inspired pieces that were meant to be worn and have a rugged appeal. After years of only making the product available in Japan, it's much more accessible in North America and Europe now. The brand sticks true to it's core items and changes fabrics, patterns and colors each season. I am definitely a fan of the brand and was happy to recently confirm an upcoming interview with Takeshi.

Margaret Howell is without doubt one of the best brands and fashion labels in the world. From the products to the stores to the people, it's a great company and I look forward to working with them in the future.
